Hello, my name is Nicole and I'm an Irish piano teacher with several years experience teaching, managing to teach up to twenty students per year while studying at University. Having grown up immersed music, I would absolutely love to share my passion for music and learning and believe that students should really enjoy their lessons while developing a strong technical foundation and theoretical knowledge. I have taught students from age six to eighteen, beginning at preliminary grade and up to Grade Six with the Royal Irish Academy of Music. I am an approachable, enthusiastic and caring teacher who truly wants her students to develop the same passion that I have. I'm happy to teach grade exams with a focus on classical music, with a combination of songs that the student wishes to learn - I think a combination of both classical and modern is key to the student really enjoying and getting the most out of their lesson and can give a better appreciation for the piano. I'm also a singer and I teach songs which students can also sing along too if they'd like. Should you have any other questions about my approach or style of learning, please do not hesitate to contact. I am happy to travel to your home to teach or I have a piano myself which I'm happy to use for lessons. Please find uploaded proof of my High Achiever award from the Royal Irish Academy of Music for my Grade VIII piano examination.
