I am a native French speaker and a qualified teacher (PGCE).
I was born in France and I grew up in the South West . I arrived in England in 1990.
I have 3 children.
I have been teaching for more than 25 yeаrs.
I thrive on helping others and teaching French has always been one of my passions.
I have been told I am very patient, I explain things very clearly and have a good sense of humour.
Throughout my working life, teaching French has been my main occupation. Starting as a language assistant, working as a full time secondary school teacher and working as an Adult Education tutor I have developed a broad range of effective skills which enable the learners to gain confidence in using French whatever their starting level.
Passing on my enthusiasm for languages has proven to be thoroughly rewarding. I always seek to inspire my students and I have received excellent feedback. In 2013 I received the award for “inspirational tutor” of the year from South Devon College, having been nominated before on several previous occasions.
I have experience in teaching all age groups from children to adults and all levels, frоm beginners tо advanced.
I have taught across the age and ability range. I set high expectations for student achievement, always seeking to challenge and motivate so as to maximise the potential of each and every learner.
