Hello, I am an Economics and Mathematics graduate with a passion for teaching. Maths has always been my favourite subject and I am inspired to help others Improve their relationship with mathematics.
I am warm and friendly, and make sure that the student is comfortable tackling a challenge before presenting it to them. Building confidence is extremely important because everyone makes mistakes, but with confidence those mistakes are met with determination rather than a feeling of failure.
I use many techniques to teach maths; my lessons are dynamic and fluid meaning that I can increase or decrease difficult in the middle of a lesson depending on the students progress.
The most important person is the student, and it is in the interests of everyone to work together so that we can achieve the objectives that we set beforehand.
I am looking to help more students, be it short term or long term, with their understanding of mathematics. I am available all day on weekends and during evenings on weekdays.
If you have any queries, please feel free to send me a message and I will reply quickly.
I have a bachelors in Economics and Mathematics, so I know mathematics through and through. This helps me in building dynamic lessons to help the student understand even the most obscure of topics.
In 2019 alone I helped over 10 students throughout the year, 9 of whom either went up to a higher set or received positive feedback from their school about their progress.
I am able to help with all levels of mathematics and every topic.
