I’m an experienced guitarist who plays a variety of styles from rock/pop, to jazz, funk, classical, and metal. I have a Diploma of the London College of Music in guitar performance and have also played to grade 6 in classical. I have a good knowledge of music theory, scales, chords, and playing techniques, and also studied Creative Music Technology in Kingston University, receiving a 2:1 degree. My favourite guitarists are Jimi Hendrix and Julian Bream!
I have also experience in teaching guitar – locally, I tutored people in guitar and have also given one-off lessons in music production to some.
I currently work as a teaching assistant for a primary school in Hounslow, planning, delivering and supporting lessons and interventions for Nursery, Y1 and Y2 classes. For the last few months, I've been filming/broadcasting lessons and marking work for the students as part of our move to Google Classrooms.
I've also had experience delivering workshops to children with Rap Therapy - a Croydon based charity that uses lyricism/songwriting as a tool to better mental health and give children a means for self-expression.
