I am a singer, songwriter and singing teacher, who started studying music and guitar in 1991. I then studied singing at some of the most prestigious music schools in Italy (C.P.M. in Milan, Università della Musica and Saint Louis College of Music in Rome) and graduated with a first-class degree in jazz arranging and performance from Licinio Refice Conservatoire of Music. In February 2018, I gained a distinction for my Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Professional Practice (specialism Vocal Pedagogy) awarded by Cardiff Metropolitan University, in conjunction with Voice Workshop Ltd"
I teach tailored singing lessons to students of all ages and abilities. My focus is on both technique and style, covering breathing, posture/balance, articulation, resonance, and phrasing. I coach all contemporary styles (including jazz, rock, blues, pop, funk, etc.) and prepare students for Trinity Rock & Pop exams.
I have taught singing since 2000, working with different academies, schools, and colleges in Rome and London. I lead workshops and webinars on vocal technique, jazz singing, and vocal improvisation, and wrote articles for iSing Magazine and The Naked Vocalist blog.
I have sung jazz and pop with several bands, performing on television, radio and at numerous gigs, concerts, and festivals, whilst releasing 4 albums.
