I am a UK qualified Maths teacher and A-level Examiner. I completed my Bachelor's in Mathematics from King's College London and a Master's in Education from UCL. I also completed my PGCE (teacher training) in Mathematics from King's College London. I've taught at various schools in the UK and abroad, most recently at a British international school in Kuwait.
I've been teaching in secondary schools in the UK and abroad for over 3 years as well as tutoring several students on a one-to-one basis. My teaching philosophy is based around engagement and assessment of learning. The latter being very important given tutoring sessions usually only take place once a week. Hence, it's vital that I can make sure my students are progressing in each and every lesson and in between the lessons in order to not waste any time. Within lessons, this is ensured through student-teacher communication and how the student answers given questions. In between lessons, I set my students homework which they have to submit my email and which is marked before the next lesson in order to address any misconceptions.
